Washington Lottery: Washington Lotto and Mega MillionsStep through the doors of the new Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way and you’ve taken a big step forward for education in Washington. Tall, spacious windows let in sunlight and fresh, new ideas. It’s striking, positive, even uplifting. There’s a noticeable change in the attitudes of students experiencing a school environment with new, modern classrooms and learning on new computers with high-speed Internet access--a big step up from the past and a big step forward that will lead them into a bright future. This year represents a big step for the Washington Lottery, too—as Lottery players help us provide more money than ever to support Washington schools--$100 million. Thanks to Lottery players, more Lottery funds will go directly to education to support important school construction projects, so students can learn in new, remodeled, or renovated classrooms that are as clean and bright as the futures of the children who learn inside their walls. This important achievement should be no surprise. Since 2001, the Lottery has increased its contribution to education in Washington, helping make the difference between dreams and reality for Washington schools and students. For Washington Lotto, select 6 balls from 49. First prize is won by matching all 6 balls drawn. There are 4 prize levels:
For multi-state Mega Millions, select 5 numbers from 52 and another number (the Mega Ball) from a separate pool of 52. All 6 numbers are required to win first prize. There are 9 levels of prizes.
