Although statistics theory tells us that 123456 is just as likely to come up as any other number combination, analysis of lottery past results doesn't support this. Winning entries almost never include a sequence of more than two numbers in a row, are often distributed evenly across low and high numbers and also across odd and even numbers. If you add the numbers together, the sum is usually nearer the middle of all possible values rather than at the high or low end.
