lottery organizations. It is drawn each week on Thursday and televised
nationally. Powerball offers a guaranteed $2 million First Division Prize
Pool each week. Powerball is known as the big jackpotting game and the
First Division Prize has in the past jackpotted to as much as $30 million.
How to Play Powerball
You select 5 numbers from 45 plus an additional number (the Power Ball)
from a separate group of 45. 6 numbers are drawn, comprising 5 main numbers
and the Power Ball. All 6 numbers are required to win first prize and
combinations of some main numbers plus the power ball are required to
win a minor prize. There are 7 levels of prizes.
